PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AL-KO Mammut is a manoeuvring system for caravans. A hand-held radio transmitter is used for moving
the electrically driven drive rollers into contact with the driven wheels of the caravan with the necessary
contact pressure. The energy for this is provided by an external 12 V battery in the caravan.
The operator can use a joystick to manoeuvre the caravan in a controlled manner at a speed of up to 0.5
km/h. There is no need for a towing vehicle to do this. The payload is reduced when the drive is installed.

Caution! Risk of crushing! Do not reach between the drive rollers and the tyres.

Safety and protective devices

Quick stop
If the joystick is released, the caravan is braked to a stop.
Quick stop by off switch
If the remote control is switched off at the ON/OFF switch at the side, the caravan is braked to a stop.
When the remote control is switched back on, manoeuvring can be resumed without having to perform
enabling again.
Disengagement of the drives
If both disengage buttons are pressed simultaneously during the engage motion of the drives, the engage
motion stops immediately and the drives are retracted to the rear limit position.

Designated use

AL-KO Mammut is intended exclusively for controlled manoeuvring of a caravan at camping sites and on
private property. It can also be used for coupling the caravan to the towing vehicle.
Using this machine for any other or additional purpose is considered contrary to its intended use.

Possible misuse

AL-KO Mammut must not be operated on unbraked caravans.
Do not use AL-KO Mammut for manoeuvring or turning on public roads.
CAUTION!
Do not use the manoeuvring system as a brake!
Tyres can become deformed if contact is maintained for lengthy periods.
Only bring the system into contact with the tyre during the manoeuvring procedure.
