6.5 Axis turning direction
During the first connection, you must pay special attention to the direction of
rotation of the motor. Continued reverse rotation may damage the mechanical seal. For
correct connection, start the engine for a few seconds and check that the direction of
rotation is as indicated on the arrow located on the fan cover.
6.6 Motor lock
If the pump has been stopped for a long period of time, the motor may be slightly
seized. Make sure the motor shaft rotates freely. If the motor is stuck, try to free it by
exerting reasonable force through the fan. Do not start if blocked.
