Disassembly
Before doing any operation ensure all valves are closed.
Disconnect the main electrical switch and switch differential.
Release and remove the power cables from the terminal box.
Empty the pump and the prefilter by using the drain plugs.
Release the suction and delivery hoses.
8.2 Disassembly of the pump and impeller
•
Proceed to dismantle the pump body. To do this, uncrew the 8 screws that fix the pump
body to the rear cover of the pump.

Extract the motor, shaft and impeller by moving it backwards.
•
Next, block the motor shaft using a clamp, while turning the impeller nut to the left
(anti-clockwise) with a wrench.
•
To remove the impeller from the shaft use and extractor. Remove the shaft key. This
way the rotating part of the mechanical seal will be free.
ASSEMBLY
All parts to be assembled must be clean and in perfect condition for use.
To assemble the pump:
•
Lubricate the mechanical seal gasket with Vaseline, never with oil or grease,
since this can dry out the gasket.
•
Assemble the mechanical seal. Pres it until it fits into its housing.
•
Place the shaft case into its position. Assemble the impeller on the shaft, place
the washer and tighten the impeller nut.
•
Position the O-ring after cleaning and greasing it with Vaseline.
•
Proceed to replace the pump body and retighten the screws.
