4.2.3 Selecting an individual Subprogram
The Mounting and Demounting Programs are made
up of Subprograms and individual specifi c phases that
are run automatically and always in the same set order.
The purpose of this obligatory sequence is to simplify
the use of the tire changer, to guarantee the acquisition
of fundamental data and to operate in complete safety
in any condition.
Thanks to the operating software installed, the machine
is always informed as to the condition of the tire, in
terms of whether it has been mounted on or demounted
from the rim.
This feature allows the operator to exit the automatic
sequence and choose a subprogram at any time
whatsoever.
The software also manages these operations, so it only
allows the available Subprograms to be selected, i.e.
those that can be run in compliance with the relative
state of the tire and rim.
Note: Any Subprograms that are not running at
a given time are disabled and even if
the corresponding enable selector (9,
Fig.4.1-2) is pressed, this will have no
effect whatsoever.

Selector Position - Subprogram :
0 - A Complete Tire Demounting Program
Enabled after a wheel has been clamped or at the end
of a Mounting operation.
1 – Bead breaking subprogram
Enabled if steps 2 and 3 have not been performed yet
2 – Upper bead demounting subprogram
Enabled if step 1 has been performed but steps 2 and
3 have not
3 - Lower bead demounting subprogram
Enabled if steps 1 and 2 have not been performed yet
4 – Unused position

Selector Position - Subprogram :
0 - A Complete Tire Mounting Program
Enabled after a mounting operation or when a rim has
been clamped.
