H:2 Remove existing liner(s) and insert new foam liner(s).
H:3 Fit one side of the ear cushion into the groove of the
earcup and then press on the opposite side until ear cushion
snaps in place.
12.2. REMOVING AND REPLACING OUTER
SHELLS
(Figure. 1)
To remove the outer shells:
Insert your fingers or a tool under the edge of the outer shell
clamp and pull out and down to unlock the outer shell.
Remove the shell by lifting from the bottom edge.
To attach the outer shells:
Press down on the clamp of the outer shell to ensure it is in
the unlock position. Position the tab on top edge of outer shell
into the slot on the top edge of the earcup. When the outer
shell is pressed fully into place, push the clamp upwards to
lock the outer shell to the earcup.

14. STORAGE
• Store the product in a clean and dry area before and after
use.
• Always store the product in the original packaging and
away from any sources of direct heat or sunlight, dust
and damaging chemicals.
• Storage temperature range: –20°C (–4°F) to 40°C
(104°F).
• Relative humidity: <90%.
• Headband and Neckband versions:
Make sure that no force is applied to the headband or
neckband and that the cushions are not compressed.
• Carrier attachment version:
Ensure the earmuffs are in work mode position (see
figure F:6) and that the cushions are not compressed.
NOTE: Remove the batteries when storing the product for
long periods of time.
15. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF
LIABILITY
15.1. WARRANTY
In the event any 3M Personal Safety Division product is
found to be defective in material, workmanship, or not in
conformity with any express warranty for a specific purpose,
3M's only obligation and your exclusive remedy shall be at
3M's option, to repair, replace or refund the purchase price of
such parts or products upon timely notification of the issue by
you and substantiation that the product has been stored,
maintained and used in accordance with 3M's written
instructions.
EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY
IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHER WARRANTY
OF QUALITY, OR THOSE ARISING FROM A COURSE OF
DEALING, CUSTOM OR USAGE OF TRADE, EXCEPT OF
TITLE AND AGAINST PATENT INFRINGEMENT.
