10. TRANSPORTING
Fuel Line Disconnection
Before transporting the outboard
motor, disconnect and remove the
fuel line in the following procedure.
Gasoline is extremely flammable,
and gasoline vapor can explode,
causing serious injury or death.
• Be careful not to spill fuel.
Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may
ignite. If any fuel is spilled, make
sure the area is dry before
storing or transporting the
outboard motor.
• Do not smoke or allow flames or
sparks where fuel is drained or
stored.

FUEL LINE CONNECTOR
1. While pulling the fuel tube
assembly connector cover, pull the
fuel tube assembly connector to
disconnect the fuel tube assembly
connector from the fuel tank.
FUEL FILLER CAP VENT KNOB

FUEL FILLER CAP
2. Close the fuel filler cap and vent
knob securely.
