Improperly installed steering
system, remote control box, and
remote control cable, or installing
those of the different types could
cause unpredictable accident.
Consult an authorized TOHATSU
outboard motor dealer for proper
installation.
The control box is available in three
types.
Select the most suitable control box
for your outboard motor considering
the installation position,
operationability, etc. of the control
box.

Install the remote control box in the
position where is easy to operate the
remote control lever and switches. Be
sure that there are no obstacles on the
route of the control cable.
