The DSGX (Extended Dynamic Sound Generator)
function reinforces bass frequencies.
Press DSGX.
The DSGX function is activated, and "DSGX"
appears in the front panel display.
• To cancel the function, press DSGX again.

Enjoying TV or VCR Sound
From the Speaker System
You can enjoy the sound from connected
equipment through the speakers of this system.
Be sure to connect your TV or other equipment
correctly.

Press "/1 to turn on the system.
• If FM/AM is selected, press HDD or DVD.
• If you are using the SCART connection,

press TV/DVD repeatedly to turn on the
"TV" indicator in the front panel display,
and select the desired sound on the TV or
equipment.

Press INPUT SELECT repeatedly to select
an input source according to the
connection you made.
The front panel display changes as follows:

Press SOUND FIELD +/– to select the sound
field you want.
Notes
• When you listen to the TV sound or stereo sound of a 2
channel source from the six speakers, select "PRO
LOGIC" or "PLII MUSIC/MOVIE."
• When using the SCART connection, be sure to follow
the procedures in step 1 or noise may result. If noise
continues after turning on the "TV" indicator, check
the output setting of the connected TV or equipment.
