Results are printed for inclusion in the patient's medical record. A network port and USB port are pro-
vided, and can be used to communicate with an external computer for data management.
To perform an analysis, the operator only needs to collect a blood specimen (heparinized whole blood,
heparinized plasma, or serum), place the sample in the reagent rotor and the rotor into its drawer, input
patient information, and print the results.
The entire analysis requires ~100 L of sample and is capable of providing results in minutes.
