8.1

Using Analyzer Messages

If problems occur, the analyzer can display warnings, iQC codes,
and other messages to help diagnose the problem.
Use the information in this section, and in
Troubleshooting" on page A-1

Contacting Abaxis
Technical Support
If the troubleshooting recommendations contained in this section
do not correct the problem with the analyzer or the reagent
rotors, record the error message and/or print an error report and
contact Abaxis Technical Support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, at 1-800-822-2947, or send a fax to 1-877-900-9333.
8.3
Instrument and Result
Messages
The VS2 Analyzer performs a series of internal quality checks to
ensure accurate results. When the analyzer detects a problem, the
analyzer will either suppress certain chemistry results (~~~,
HEM, LIP, or ICT printed in place of values) or cancel the run
(rotor cancels and no patient results printed). If either of these
situations occurs, proceed as follows:

Chemistry Suppression
In this situation, patient results print, but some results do not
have numerical values. The results printout includes trouble-
shooting "flags" —
