Checking
The FWA 43xx / 44xx always performs self-testing
of all the electronic components prior to the next wheel
alignment operation.

The toe and camber settings are checked by way of
reverse measurement (refer to Section 6.4).

Adjustment program (calibration)
The adjustment program includes toe, camber and
spirit level adjustment as well as an adjustment record.

The calibration device is essential for the calibration
process.

The adjustment program provides step-by-step testing
and adjustment of the FWA 43xx / 44xx. The
adjustment program instructions should be heeded
exactly to ensure a high level of measurement accuracy
and proper adjustment. The "Adjustment" button is
used to save each of the adjustment steps and to call
up the next pages.

On completion of toe and camber adjustment, the
adjustment record is called up and the adjustment
values are stored and can then be printed out.

Spirit level adjustment:
Spirit level displays are shown on the monitor for
spirit level adjustment (Fig. 23). Insert the sensors in
the calibration device and align them exactly with the
mechanical spirit level in the handle of the sensors.
The spirit level displays on the monitor are compared to
the sensor spirit levels and calibrated by clicking with
the mouse onto the "Save" button.
