PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS

• Carefully measure the amount of pest control product to put in the main tank.
• Make sure that the chemicals are compatible with the trolley circuit materials.
• Pest control products must be stored in a separate area which is well-ventilated, clearly marked as containing
hazardous materials and inaccessible to children, animals and unauthorised persons. The same area may not
be used for storing food products.
• Before use, read the safety warnings on the product's packaging. Take precautions against the hazardous
nature of the product. Do not exceed the maximum recommended dosage.
• Do not mix different product unless you are certain they are compatible with each other.
• In case of contact with the skin, eyes or mucous membranes, wash with fresh water and seek immediate
medical attention, using the product's packaging as a reference.
• If ingested, do not induce vomiting; seek immediate medical attention, using the product's packaging as a
reference.
• Do not inhale the vapour emitted by pest control products; always wear a face mask.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling hazardous pest control products.
• Wear protective clothing and keep pest control products away from children, animals and persons not wear-
ing suitable clothing.
• Before treatment, carefully wash the containers and batching equipment.
• Dispose of the chemical product containers at a sorted waste disposal centre.
• Clean the trolley in the same place in which it was filled, or in an area in which any water is collected into a
proper drain.
• Do not dump any remaining mixture into running water, sewers or public spaces.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Agricultural spraying products are generally harmful to the environment if not used properly.
Observe the following precautions at all times.
• Fill the tank exclusively with water from a gravity-fed water supply. Do not touch the dispensing unit.
• Take great care when preparing and pouring the mixture to avoid spillages on the ground or into water.
• Make certain that the liquid sprayed during treatment cannot reach public or private buildings, homes,
parks or gardens, water courses or ponds and lakes, whether public or private, foodstuff stores, or places fre-
quented by people and animals.
• Do not run treatments in particularly windy conditions. The wind can carry the product far away, thus con-
taminating distant areas during the treatment.
