forces and distances to anatomic landmarks are just general recommendations. To customise the alignment take individual
requirements of the patient into account. This device is for use by professionals/orthopaedic technicians only (required
expertise: lower limb prosthetics and orthotics). After adjusting static alignment with this device, a check of dynamic
behaviour is needed. Start any tests of alignment with the patient slowly and with a level that is suitable for the patient.
Disclaimer
Ottobock rejects any liability for damage or injury suffered by the user or his/her patient. This limitation of liability excludes
damage resulting from injury to life, limb or body if such damage results from a negligent breach of obligations on the part
of Ottobock or from wilful or gross negligence on the part of it legal agents and vicarious agents. It also excludes any other
damage caused by wilful or gross negligence or minor negligent breach of fundamental contractual obligations (=
obligations whose fulfilment is necessary to achieve the objective of the agreement and on whose compliance the user may
rely) on the part of Ottobock.
Protection of medical data
Where the app allows for the input of personal data (names, addresses, etc.), such data are entered voluntarily. The
company Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA expressly states that such data shall not be shared with any third party and shall be
used exclusively for the purposes of business relations. Furthermore, any storage of personal data may be subject to prior
consent according to the respective local data protection law. Please notice that according to the respective local data
protection law, an approval from your patient to use his/her data may be required before storing personal data or pictures of
him/her and of his/her prosthetic or orthotic alignments. We strive to ensure that your data are not accessible to third
parties by taking all reasonable technical and organisational precautions in storing them. However, we are unable to
guarantee total data security for digital communications.

chio occorre controllare il comportamento dinamico. Iniziare tutti i controlli dell'allineamento sul paziente lentamen­
te e con un livello indicato per il paziente.
Esclusione di responsabilità
Ottobock esclude ogni responsabilità per danni causati all'utilizzatore o al suo paziente. Questa esclusione di re­
sponsabilità non comprende la responsabilità per danni derivanti da lesioni alla vita, all'integrità fisica e alla salute,
se tali danni derivano da violazione per negligenza dei propri doveri da parte di Ottobock o da violazione per negli­
genza o intenzionale dei propri doveri da parte di rappresentante legale e ausiliario, né la responsabilità per danni
di altra natura, se tali danni sono imputabili a una violazione intenzionale o per grave negligenza dei propri doveri o
