7. Push the side rail in both ends, all the way up until the
upper bar locks in the upper position.

Retighten the screw under the lower side rail bar, in
each corner of the bed ends.
Before taking the bed into use; Make sure that the
side rail is properly locked with the screw and that
the bars run smoothly.
3.8 Installing the mattress support
extension
(optional)
1. Remove the foot bed end.
2. Insert both sides of the mattress support extension into
the frame and secure with nuts and bolts.

3. Reinstall the foot bed end and fix it to the brackets with
the tapping screws.
IMPORTANT!
On a extended bed the foot bed end has to
be secured by fixing it to the brackets with
tapping screws.
4. Attach mattress deck extender to the mattress deck.

3.9 Dismantle the bed

1. Dismantle side rails and lifting pole.
2. Bring the bed to its lowest position and adjust all
mattress support sections to horizontal position.
3. Disconnect the 230 V supply. Roll the cable onto the
hook of the head end of the bed.
4. Disconnect all the motor plugs from the motors (do not
disconnect the backrest motor cable).
5. Dismantle the locking cam from the control by means of
a tool, e.g. a flat headed screwdriver.
6. Pull out the cables of the bed end motors and leg
section motor.
7. Separate the mattress support from the bed ends.
8. Divide the head and foot end of the mattress support.
9. For beds with 24 V external power supply, verify that
mains cable is attached to control unit power supply
cable.
