■ Remove air piston rod [# 29629].
Mount air piston, air piston spring and air micrometer
■ Insert air piston rod [# 29629] in correct position.
■ Grease air piston with air piston spring and air micrometer [1-5] with
SATA high performance grease (# 48173) and insert.
■ Press air micrometer into gun body.
■ Screw locking screw [1-6] into gun body.
After installation, adjust the material flow according to chapter 8.2.
9.5. Repaling the sealing (air side)
Replacement is necessary if air escapes under the trigger guard.
Remove seal
■ Loosen counter nut.
■ Screw adjusting screw [1-4] with counter nut out of gun body.
■ Remove spring and paint needle.
■ Remove trigger guard [1-12] (see chapter 9.1).
■ Screw locking screw [1-6] out of gun body.
■ Pull air micrometer [1-5] out of gun body.
■ Remove air piston with air piston spring.
■ Remove air piston rod [# 29629].
■ Screw gland [# 3749] out of gun body using universal spanner.
■ Pull seal [# 422] out of gun body.
Mount seal
■ Insert seal in gun body [# 422].
■ Screw gland [# 3749] into gun body using universal spanner.
■ Insert air piston rod in the correct position.
■ Insert air piston with air piston spring [10-3] and air micrometer and
grease with SATA high performance grease (# 48173).
■ Press air micrometer into gun body.
■ Screw in locking screw.
■ Mount trigger guard (see chapter 9.1).
■ Insert spring and paint needle.
■ Screw adjusting screw [1-4] with counter nut into gun body.
After installation, adjust the material flow according to chapter 8.2.
9.6. Replace spindle of round / flat fan control
Replacement is necessary if air escapes from the round / flat fan control or
if it is no longer possible to adjust the spray fan pattern.
