17. Troubleshooting

Problem
The control panel
does not switch on
The
automation
does not open or
close.
The external safety
devices are not ac-
tivated.
The
automation
o p e n s / c l o s e s
briefly and then
stops.

No power supply.

Short circuited accessories
Blown line fuse.
Safety contacts are open.
Safety contacts not correctly
connected or self-controlled
safety edge not functioning
correctly.
Photocells activated.

Faulty control panel
Both limit switches are active.
Incorrect
connections

Check the power supply cable and the
relative wiring
Check power supply cable.
Disconnect all accessories from termi-
nals 0-1 (a voltage of 24V= must be pre-
sent) and reconnect them one at a time.

Replace fuse.
Check that the safety contacts are closed
correctly (NC).
Check connections to terminals 6-8 on
control panel and connections to the
self-controlled safety edge.
Check that the photocells are clean and
operating correctly.
Issue any command. If the problem per-
sists, contact Technical Service
Check motor connection, if the problem
persists, contact Technical Service.
Check the rack and transmission chain,
and/or the mechanical parts.
Check that the hatch is closed correctly
and the microswitch makes contact.

Check the connection of the limit
switches.
