MIG / MAG INSTALLATION

NOTE: numbers shown below are referring to Fig. 1-2-3-4-5-6 of
chapter 6 COMMANDS DESCRIPTION to page 7.

FILLING UP THE COOLING RESEVOIR.
1.
Make sure that the switch (11) is in position "0".
2.
Unscrew Cap (22) and pour the coolant until the MAX
level indication is reached (21).
Warning! When working with the cooling unit, it
should exclusively be used the coolant supplied by
Sol Welding.
3.
Screw cap (22) back on.

INTERCONNECTING CABLES CONNECTION

1.
Connect the interconnecting cables to sockets (14-15-
18) in the rear end of the generator.
In the case a water cooled torch is used, remember to
connect the water hoses "inlet and outlet", to the quick
release connectors (19).
Warning! In case an AIR cooled torch is used, connect
the "Bypass" hose (19A) to quick connectors (4).
2.
Connect the other end of the interconnecting cables to
sockets (75-76-78) on the wire feeder. In the case a
water cooled torch is used, remember to connect the
water hoses "inlet and outlet", to the quick release
connector (77).
3.
Secure the interconnecting cables with securing plate
(79).

SETTING UP THE GAS TANK

1.
Position the GAS tank on its support (20).
2.
Secure the tank to the generator with chain (13).
3.
Install the GAS regulator on the tank.
4.
Connect the GAS hose from the interconnecting cables
to the pressure regulator.
5. Open the GAS regulator.
6. Set the correct flow of GAS between 10
and 14 litres/min.
