11 Technical data for BWT bestaqua 14ROC Coffee
A pre-treatment process that removes the hardness from the raw water. The
hardness is caused by the calcium and magnesium ions contained in the wa-
ter.
The raw water is the untreated drinking water that is connected to the con-
nection for the water inlet.
Abbreviation for reverse osmosis.
The largely desalinated "pure water extracted through reverse osmosis". The
key parameter is the electrical conductivity in μS/cm.
The waste water that contains all the salts and minerals removed from the
raw water.
The device's filter, which desalinates the raw water under high pressure and
throughput.
Total dissolved solids: total content of dissolved salts, measured in mg/l.
Silt density index
(blockage index)
dency to cause a blockage.
The lower the value for electrical conductivity
vice, the lower the salt concentration in the permeate product.
Abbreviation for installation and operating instruction
The ratio between the quantity of pure water produced
water produced.
Using the bypass setting on the blue setting mixer head
, an amount of cold drinking water can be added to the pure wa-
the service cover)
ter produced. By turning the blending head while holding the blue switch,
you can set the required locking position 0, 1, 2 or 3. The higher the number
of the locking position, the higher the mixing ratio of the feed water
The BWT bestaqua 14ROC Coffee enables continuous adjustment of the by-
pass independent of locking position 0, 1, 2, 3).
: The silt density index is a measure of water's ten-
(μS/cm)
measured by the RO de-
and the waste
