11 Dismounting
Cause
• Compressed air missing
• Hoses kinked
• Solenoid valve defective
• No control signal
• Jammed
• Tool collision
• Loose components
Dismounting may only be carried out by specialized personnel. Please make
sure that the shutdown procedures are strictly observed before the dismounting
work begins. Ensure this also for the components integrated into the welding
system.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up.
For the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, dismounting and repair
work, the following instructions must be adhered to:
• Switch off the power supply.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
• Pull the mains plug.
11 Dismounting
Solution
• Check air supply
• Check and replace it if necessary
• Replace it
• Check cables, plugs, programming
• Dismount CAT and rotate piston
manually back through the center
bore of the CAT seat by means of
the mandrel
• Check tool or welding torch TCP
using the alignment gauge, adjust
it, if necessary
• Check all fastening elements,
tighten them, if necessary.
