affect safety.

3. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

When taking delivery of the equipment, check that it has not
been damaged in transit. If anything is found wrong, take
the necessary steps with the carrier within the allowed time.
If the equipment delivered is to be installed at a later
time, store it in a dry place and protect it from
impacts and outside influences (moisture, frost, etc.).

With threaded ports; with PN10 flanges for CXL 2070 and CXL
2100 double models.
Motor with wet rotor, self-lubricating bushings.
•SINGLE-PHASE: three-speed, manual selection by selector
switch.
•THREE-PHASE: two speeds, selection by terminal strips.
- Insulation class: F (155°C)
- Built-in capacitor: see data plate (µF).
The single-phase motors are self-protecting and need no
external protection.
The three-phase models must be protected.
4.2. Accessories
The following are available for an extra charge:
• Unions • Round PN10 counter-flanges • Motor protection
safety switch (single three-phase models) • Y1200 control
box for changeovers and protection (double models)
• Unjamming plug device for motor shaft
5. INSTALLATION
5.1. Installation (see FIGS. 1 & 2)
- Make sure that the circulator is accessible.
- Install directly on a pipe, preferably vertical, and if possible
on the boiler return circuit; never at the low point (to
protect against deposits from the circuit).
- The motor shaft axis must always be horizontal.
- The arrow on the pump casing indicates the direction of
water flow (see FIG. 2).
- Install isolating valves on both sides of the circulator to
facilitate removal and other work on it.
Do not insulate the motor casing. If the
ATTENTION !
pump casing is insulated, make sure that
the condensates evacuation holes in the motor flange are
not obstructed.
5.2. Orientation of terminal box (see FIG. 3)
If necessary, the orientation of the motor, and thus that of
the terminal box, can be changed.
- Remove the motor attachment screws and turn the motor
to the desired position.
Take care not to damage the casing gasket, and
reinstall it correctly.
The terminal box must not be installed in the
6-o'clock position on an ice-water circuit.
5.3. Electrical connection
The electrical connection must be made by a
qualified electrician and comply with applicable
local standards.
Complete electrical information about the circulator is given
on the data plate.
