1. GENERAL
1.1 Applications
Pumps designed to pump clear liquids, chemically
neutral, without abrasive particles in suspension, in the
fields of accommodation and industry.

Using pumps at 2900 rpm may require special mea-
sures to damp the noise, for the building installations
showing special requirements for acoustic insulation.
2. SAFETY

starting up. Pay special attention to the points concer-
ning the safety of the equipment for the intermediate
or end user.

3. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

When taking delivery of the equipment, check that it
has not been damaged in transit. If anything is found
wrong, take the necessary steps with the carrier within
the allowed time.
If the equipment delivered is to be installed at a
later time, store it in a dry place and protect it
from impacts and outside influences (moisture, frost,
etc.).
4. PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES
4.1 The pump

5. INSTALLATION
5.1 Mounting (See FIG. 1)
Install the pump in a place easy to reach and protec-
ted from frost.
If the pump is installed on a horizontal pipe, with
motor centerlines horizontal, it will be necessary
to switch operation between the pumps from
time to time, to prevent the formation of air pocket at
the high point of the casing.
For pumps whose motor is very heavy, provide a secu-
ring point (e.g. hoisting hook, ...) to allow easy dis-
mantling of the motor.
The pump can be installed directly on the pipe (hori-
zontal or vertical) or on a concrete foundation.
Mounting possible in all positions except with motor
down.
Direct connection to pipe, with motor centerline hori-
zontal:
•Horizontal pipe: up to 3 kW
•Vertical pipe: up to 9 kW and DN pumps, ports
40 to 125.
Provide suitable pipe clamps or supports.
Mounting on concrete foundation
- All types with securing through anchor bolts (moun-
ting plane, see FIG.2).
- The volume of the foundation must be commensura-
te with the pump weight and size.
- If the installation includes several pumps, they can be
mounted on the same foundation.
