Preventive maintenance should be performed annually, at a minimum. A preventive maintenance program should be
established for all Stryker Medical equipment. Preventive maintenance may need to be performed more frequently based
on the usage level of the product
The following or a similar checklist should be completed before using the surface on a new patient and/or after servicing.

CHECKLIST

Product Serial Number:
1.
Cover zipper opens and closes properly and has no visible damage
2.
No tears, rips, holes, cracks, or other openings in the mattress cover
3.
Labels are legible, and securely attached (see page 17-18)
4.
No rips or cracks in the stitching
5.
Foam and other components have not degraded, or come apart
6.
Fire barrier has no visible signs of damage; if excessive wear is observed, replacement of fire barrier
is recommended
7.
Individual Air Bladders should hold air and show no cuts or leaks
8.
Bladder tubing and fittings are tightly connected and no cuts or leaks are present
9.
Velcro® strips are present and securely attached
10. Surface is operating properly
