Quite simply - unrestained loads should be avoided at all
times. It is the manufacturer´s responsibility to provide
lashing points and to ensure the rigidity of the vehicle shell.
The type of load restraint to be used will determine the
nature of the formula required to calculate the necessary
restraining forces.
Shoring poles
When using shoring poles vertically, note the following:
The spring assembly of the shoring poles must always be
on top.
The load restraint of goods must only prevent tipping to
the side, and not in the direction of the vehicle's longitudi-
nal axis!
The maximum force to be applied must not exceed 50
daN. The load restraint along the longitudinal axis of the
vehicle is carried out by form closure, lashing down, direct
securing, or a combined restraint. The vehicle manufacturer
installation guidelines must be followed.
bott recommends that all users enroll on a bott load
safety course!
