1 Introduction

The METTLER TOLEDO SevenExcellence™ is a modern, professional instrument suitable for use in
a wide variety of application areas and segments. It can be used, for example, in quality control as
well as in research and development and meets the most demanding requirements.
This flexible meter perfectly combines easy-to-understand operation with a high level of measure­
ment accuracy and outstanding reliability. Thanks to the plug & play capability, the detection of

external devices and ISM sensors occurs automatically, in this way supporting the comfortable
handling of SevenExcellence™.
Straightforward user guidance on the large color touch screen makes the operation particularly
intuitive. User-definable shortcuts allow methods to be activated directly from the home screen with
a single tap.
This installation instruction explains the necessary steps for setting up your instrument. With help
of the installation quick check you can immediately verify if your system has been set up properly.
It will point out any problem that needs to be serviced by your vendor. In addition, this instruction
also gives a concise overview how to perform a calibration and/or a measurement. A comprehen­
