4.2 Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
The machine does not start (All the LEDs of the
EN
keys are off).
The compressor functions intermittently from the
first batch freezing phases.
The batch freezing times lengthen and/or the ice
-cream appears wet.
The product is too soft.
The product is too hard.
The machine becomes noisy during batch
freezing.

Master switch open.
Incorrect power supply.
Electrical anomaly.
Air condenser dirty or fan faulty.
Slight condensation.
High room temperature.
High liquid mixture temperature.
Worn scrapers.
Refrigeration system anomaly.
Unbalanced mixture or incorrect amount
introduced.
The selected working program is incorrect.
The selected working program is incorrect..
Presence of ice on the cylinder wall.

SOLUTION
Close the switch.
Check power supply.
Contact the technician
Clean the condenser with a brush and make sure the
fan works properly.
Check the commissioning conditions Chap.II/3
Check that the room temperature does not exceed
32°C (90°F).
Maximum machine production is obtained with a
liquid mixture at 4°C (39°F). Using mixtures at higher
temperatures means that batch freezing times are
lengthened: this is normal and does not constitute an
anomaly.
Check wear and replace them if necessary.
Contact the technician
Check that the amount of mixture introduced is
correct and that it is properly balanced.
Select a program higher number.
Select a program lower number.
Check the wear of the scraper.
Make sure the mix is properly balanced.
Check that the beater rotates counterclockwise.
Otherwise, turn off the machine and contact your
service technician
Ensure that the amount present in the cylinder is not
lower than the minimum allowed.
