TRANSPORT, STORAGE AND RE-USE
Transportation
Transport must be carried out with the fuel valve turned off. Transport and store the engine when it is cool to avoid burns or fire.
NOTICE: Do not tilt the engine to avoid spilling fuel. Spilled fuel or its vapors may ignite and cause a fire.
Storage
If the motor is not used for a long time, it should be properly stored. Make sure the storage area is dry and dust-free.
1. Change the engine oil.
2. Disconnect the spark plug. Pour a tablespoon of fresh engine oil into the cylinder. Turn the engine over to distribute the engine oil evenly. Reinstall the
spark plug.
3. Pull the starter rope slowly until you feel slight resistance, then pull so that the arrow of the starter sleeve aligns with the starter hole. At that time, both
the intake and exhaust valves are closed to prevent the engine from rusting.
4. Electric starter: disconnect the battery and store it in a dry and cool place. Charge once a month.
5. Cover the motor to prevent dust build-up.
