3.2. Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Use the device outside enclosed spaces on a stable, level, even surface, and
preferably on grass or soil. Do not set the machine on concrete, asphalt other hard
surfaces, as shavings and other debris ejected by the machine may bounce off and
cause danger.
Working conditions
Review the material to be shredded and make sure there is enough space above the
machine to load the material. It is recommended to choose a workplace as close as
possible to where the chips are to be used. This will reduce the need to carry the
processed material to a minimum. Keep a safe distance from the chip discharge
area. Make sure that all bystanders, children, animals, or valuables are also kept at
a safe distance from the chip discharge area.
Installation of the unit
1) Support installation
Place a support (A) under the engine base. Use four M8x60 bolts (C) and four nuts (D)
to tighten the brace to the engine base.
