Check the technical condition
of the loading hopper, outlet
hopper and covers

engine and chipper

Maintenance of the engine
Always check the oil level before starting the engine.
Change the oil after the first 5-8 hours of operation. Change the oil when the
engine is warm. Fill with new oil of the recommended grade (SAE L5W-40).
Check the spark plug every year or every 50 hours of operation.
Check and replace the air filter regularly.
Keep the engine and parts clean.
Check the engine and accessories frequently for loose nuts and bolts and
keep them tight.
Checking for loose parts
Service interval: every 5 hours; every spring and fall.
Check the machine for loose parts.
Pay particular attention to the fasteners for the loading and discharge
hopper, the axle of the wheels, and the front support.
Checking the safety stickers
Service Interval: Every spring and fall.
Check that safety stickers are in place and not damaged.
Replace damaged or missing stickers.
Checking the loading hopper, discharge hopper, tank, and covers
Service Interval: Every spring and fall.
Check that the loading hopper, discharge hopper, tank, and covers are in
place, undamaged and secure.
Replace any damaged or missing parts.
Removal of debris from the machine
• Service Interval: Before each use and every 100 hours.
• The engine requires airflow for cooling and combustion.
• Before each use, clean the device of any dirt, especially around the air intake, air
filter, and muffler. Every 100 hours, remove the engine air cover and remove any
