REMOVING THE RIDER SADDLE

Position the vehicle on the stand.
N
Insert the key (1) in the lock (2).
N
Rotate the key (1) anticlockwise.
N
Raise and remove the saddle (3).
N
Remove the flap (4).
Upon reassembly:
Before lowering and locking the
saddle, make sure that you have
not left the key in the glove / tool kit
compartment.
N
Position the flap (4) correctly.
Insert the rear tangs (6) of the saddle in
N
the appropriate seats (see figure).
N
Position the coupling (5) in its seat, lower
and press the saddle, making the lock
snap.
Before leaving, make sure that
the saddle (3) is properly posi-
tioned and locked.

REMOVING THE BELLY
PAN GUARD
Read page 43 (MAINTENANCE) careful-
ly.
Allow for the engine and exhaust
silencer to cool down comple-
tely.

Place the vehicle on the stand.
N
Release and remove the four screws
(7).
N
Remove the belly pan guard (8).
Handle plastic and paint-finished
parts with care to avoid scra-
tching or damage.

REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS

Read page 43 (MAINTENANCE) careful-
ly.
Allow for the engine and exhaust
silencer to cool down comple-
tely.

Place the vehicle on the stand.

Release and remove the screw (9).
N
Remove the front air scoop cover
(10).
N
Release and remove the screw (11).
N
Remove the protector (12).
