Introduction
Power sources type PLUS 401 W - PLUS 502 W are suited for TIG Lift-arc, Electrode,
MIG/MAG and PULSED welding in the range of 400/500A.
•
Interconnecting cable can be long up to 4 mt. Higher lengths can be agreed
with our sales / assistance centres.
•
The correct functioning of the water cooler is granted for a maximum height of
7 mt.
•
It is forbidden to use the equipment for different application from
the ones listed in this manual.
A different use from the one hereafter described can compromise the
security of work and the reliability of the equipment.

Contact the service centre for advice and precautions, in case the unit must be
installed and used in site conditions.
It is suggested to make a maintenance cleaning of the unit every 2-3 months of
work, for this operation, please contact the Sol Welding service centre.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Prevent metal powder from accumulating inside the equipment.
Disconnect the power supply before every operation !
Carry out the following periodic controls on the power source:
• Clean the power source inside by means of low-pressure compressed
air and soft bristel brushes.
• Check the electric connections and all the connection cables.
For the use and maintenance of the pressure reducers, consult the speci-
fic manuals.

Einleitung
Die Schweißgeneratoren PLUS 401 W - PLUS 502 W wurden für Anwendungen Pulse
Mig, Mig/Mag,Wig und Elektrode in dem Leistungsbereich bis 400/500A entwickelt.
•
Der Verbindungs-Schweißkabelsatz kann bis zu 4 m lang sein. Größere Länge
konnen mit Kundendienstabteilung vereinbart werden.
•
Die Förderhöhe der Kühleinheit beträgt max 7 m.
•
Jede von den aufgelisteten Anwendungen abweichende Art der
Anwendung ist verboten und kann die Sicherheit bei der Arbeit und die
Zuverlässigkeit der Anlage beeinträchtigen.
Falls Installation und Betrieb unter besonders schwierigen Bediengungen
erfolgen, sollten Sie sich für Hinweise und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen an das

Kundendienstzentrum wenden.
Eine ordentliche Wartung ist alle 2-3 Monate zu planen und nach Absprache mit
dem Kundendienstzentrum vorzunehmen.
REGELMÄßIGE WARTUNG
Vermeiden Sie, dass sich Metallstaub in der Stomquelle ansammelt.
Vor jedem Wartungseingriff die Stromzuführung von der
Anlage trennen.
Die Stromquelle regelmäßig prüfen:
• Den Generator innen mit Druckluft bei niedrigem Druck und mit weichen
Pinseln reinigen.
• Elektrische Verbindungen und Anschlußkabel prüfen.
Für die Instandhaltung und den Gebrauch der Gas Druckreduzierer die ent
sprechenden Anleitungen zu Hilfe nehmen.
