Accident WITHOUT Deployment
In the case of minor, low energy and/or low speed accidents, such as those involving
speeds below those described in Section 3 (the "Tech-Air

19. Maintenance, Servicing, Lifespan and Disposal
Garments with electronically activated Airbags are critical safety systems which must be
maintained in good working order to ensure their correct function. If not, they may not
function properly or at all.
19.1 Maintenance
Prior to each use, the User should conduct a check of the System, looking for any signs of
wear (loose threads, holes, marks) or damage of the System in all its parts (Airbag included).
If any signs of wear are found, the System should be inspected further by an authorized

19.2 Servicing
Alpinestars recommends that the System be routinely inspected at least every 2 years
or after 500 hours of functioning, whichever comes first, by Alpinestars or an authorized
Alpinestars' Tech-Air
components will be examined. Inspection can be requested directly at an Alpinestars' Tech-
