• IMPROVING THE SELECTIVITY IN
AM RECEPTION
The R-1000 is equipped with three filters; AM WIDE (12
kHz), AM NARROW (6 kHz) and SSB (2. 7 kHz).
lf you wish to sharpen the selectivity in AM reception. shift
the connector as shwon in the illustration. This results in
changing AM selectivity from 12 kHz to 6 kHz in AM WID E.
and from 6 kHz to 2.7 kHz in AM NARROW.
Remove two rear feet placed
on the REAR of R-1000 and
then remove the top cover.
