Delete channel
You may want to delete a storage channel due to setting errors or changing other settings. The operation is as follows:
(1) Press [MENU] [3] [1] to enter menu 31 (delete channel);

· Or press the [MENU]
key to select menu 31 forward or backward;

(2) Press the [MENU] key to enter the delete channel operation; Press the
key to select a channel to be deleted forward or backward.
· If the numerical prefix displays the character "CH -", it indicates that the channel sequence has channel storage parameters that can be
deleted.
· If the numerical prefix does not display the character "CH -", it indicates that the channel is empty and allows direct storage of the channel.
(3) Press the [MENU] key to confirm the deletion of existing channel parameters, save and return to the higher-level menu.
· If it is an empty channel, press the [MENU] key to directly return to the higher-level menu.
Manually programming channels
A complete channel should include parameters such as receiving frequency, transmitting frequency, CTCSS/DCS, transmitting power, channel
bandwidth, PTT-ID, busy locking, signaling code, scan addition, channel name, etc. Except for scanning and channel names that need to be
edited through frequency writing software, all other parameters can be set in frequency mode, and then stored in the specified channel
number through menu 30 to store the channel.
Frequency mode and channel mode
Frequency mode, also known as VFO mode; Channel mode, also known as MR mode.
In standby mode, press the [VFO/MR] key to switch between frequency mode and channel mode. Frequency mode is the basic mode of
frequency editing.
Example 1. Storing a relay channel with analog sub tone (CTCSS)
Example: Creating a new storage channel in channel 10
Receiving frequency: 432.55000, transmitting frequency: 437.55000 (frequency difference frequency+5.0MHz), transmitting sub tone: 123.0
The operation steps are as follows:
(1) Press the [EXIT] key to exit the function menu, press the [VFO/MR] key to switch to frequency mode, and VFO will be displayed on the right
side.
(2) Press [MENU] [3] [1] [MENU] [1] [0] [MENU] [EXIT]
