Material damage due to improper use/incorrect appliance
set-up.
Place the appliance on a stable, level, heat-resistant and dry sur-
face.
Never place the appliance on the edge of a table – it could tip
over and fall. Do not allow the mains cable (5) to hang over the
edge of the worktop.
Ensure that the mains cable (5) does not become a tripping hazard
and do not use an extension cord.
Avoid the use of sharp objects to distribute or flip the batter to pre-
vent scratches. Use wood or heatproof plastic utensils to flip the
crêpes.
Do not use any aggressive chemical agents, scouring agents, hard
sponges etc. for cleaning. They can scratch the surface. Comply
with the notes in section "10. Cleaning" on page 23.
Use only the accessories supplied.
Do not clean the appliance in a dishwasher.
If the appliance has been moved from a cold room to a warm
room, wait before connecting the mains plug to the power supply.
The resulting condensation may damage the appliance. The appli-
ance can be operated safely as soon as it has reached room tem-
perature.
Chemical additives in furniture coatings may corrode the materi-
al of the appliance feet (8) and cause residue on the furniture sur-
face. If necessary, place the appliance on an underlay that is in-
sensitive to heat and water.
