Risk of injury to children and persons with limited physi-
cal, sensory or mental abilities (for example, partially disa-
bled people or older people with limited physical and men-
tal abilities) or to those without experience and knowledge
(such as older children).
„ Keep the appliance and its accessories out of the reach of chil-
dren.
„ This appliance can be used by children of 8 years and older, and
by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or
with a lack of experience and/or knowledge, but only with prop-
er supervision, or if they have been told how to use the appliance
safely, and have understood the risks involved if they use it im-
properly.
„ Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance.
„ Do not allow children to clean the appliance or perform mainte-
nance tasks on it unless they are aged 8 years or older and prop-
erly supervised.
„ Do not allow children younger than 8 years old near the appli-
ance and its power cable.
„ Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
„ Prevent the appliance from generating smoke, because this is dan-
gerous for small animals (e.g. birds) with a particularly sensitive
respiratory system. Keep birds and other small animals out of the
kitchen.
„ Keep pets away from electrical appliances as a matter of princi-
ple.
