PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Comply with the national and regional regulations for safety and accident prevention. Protective equipment such as safety
shoes and safety gloves appropriate for the risks associated with the intended activities must be selected, provided and
worn.

QUALIFICATIONS OF PERSONNEL
Specialists for mechanical work
Specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with assembly work, mechanical installation,

commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of the products and who possess the following qualifications:
Qualification / training in the field of mechanics as specified in the nationally applicable regulations.
Trained specialist for electro-technical work

A trained electrician in terms of this document is a person who has been respectively trained and who possesses the skills
and experience to recognise and avoid the dangers of working with electricity.
Trained person
Trained persons in the sense of this documentation are persons who have been trained to perform work in the areas of

transport, storage and operation.
2.6.
DUTIES OF THE OPERATING COMPANY
Ensure that all of the works listed below are carried out by qualified specialist personnel:

The operating company must ensure that personnel who work on the product comply with the regulations and provisions

National and regional regulations for safety, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations.
No damaged products are assembled, installed or commissioned.
The necessary protective equipment is provided.

Instruct and train operators in the use of the Setting Bench.
Provide protection at hazard points.
Regularly test safety devices for correct operation.

2.7.
SAFETY DEVICES (EMERGENCY STOP SWITCH)
The emergency stop switch stops the movement of the ceramic gauge blocks. The unit is not de-energised.
Before using the unit, always test the safety devices for correct operation.

Do not use the unit if it is damaged or the safety devices are not operational.
After the emergency stop switch has been actuated, secure the unit against being switched back on inadvertently until
the fault has been rectified.

Safety devices may be disabled only by a specialist mechanical fitter.
2.8.
NOISE AND VIBRATION
A noise level of 70 dB(A) will not be exceeded.
