To do a check of the hydraulic oil level
WARNING:
hydraulic oil becomes hot during operation
of the product. Let the product become cool
before you replace the hydraulic oil.
1. Look at the hydraulic oil level in the level indicator.
The hydraulic oil level is correct when it is between
the 2 marks on the level indicator (A).

2. If the hydraulic oil level is below the center of
the indicator, replace the hydraulic oil. Refer to
replace the hydraulic oil on page 24 .
To replace the hydraulic oil
If the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutes
before you drain the hydraulic oil. This makes the
hydraulic oil warm and easier to drain.
WARNING:

engine become cool before you drain the
hydraulic oil. If you spill hydraulic oil on your
skin, clean with soap and water.

2. Put a container below the hydraulic oil drain plug.
3. Remove the hydraulic oil drain plug.
4. Let the hydraulic oil drain into the container.
5. Clean around the hydraulic oil drain plug.
6. Install the hydraulic oil drain plug when the hydraulic
oil tank is empty.
7. Fill the hydraulic oil tank until the hydraulic oil level is
at the center of the indicator. Refer to
hydraulic oil on page 24 .
8. Operate the product for a short time to bleed the
system.
9. Do a check of the hydraulic oil level.
To replace the hydraulic oil filter
1. Drain the hydraulic system. Refer to
hydraulic oil on page 24 .
2. Remove the cover of the hydraulic oil filter.
3. Turn the hydraulic oil filter counterclockwise to
remove it.
4. Fill the new hydraulic oil filter with new hydraulic oil.
