Safety devices on the product
WARNING:

Do not use the product if the safety devices are
damaged or does not operate correctly.
•
Do a check of the safety devices daily. If your safety
devices are damaged or does not operate correctly,
speak to your Husqvarna service agent.
•
Do not make modifications on safety devices
Emergency stop button
The emergency stop button is used to quickly stop the
operation. The emergency stop button breaks the power
supply to the drive system. The emergency stop button
closes the valve for abrasive material and disengages
the clutch.
To do a check of the emergency stop button

1. Turn the emergency stop button clockwise to make
sure that the emergency stop button is disengaged.
2. Start the product. Refer to
page 14 .
3. Push the emergency stop button.
4. Make sure that the the drive system stops, the valve
for abrasive material is closed and the clutch is
disengaged.
5. Set the movement control lever in the neutral
position.
6. Turn the emergency stop button clockwise to
disengage.
Seat belt
WARNING:
when you operate the product.
The seat belt will keep the operator in the seat during
operation and the sudden stops.
•
Do a check of the seat belt before operation. Make
sure that it works correctly and it is not damaged.
•
Keep the seat belt flat against your waist.
•
Do not twist the seat belt.
•
Make sure that there are no objects between you
and the seat belt.
•
Do a check of the seat belt after a sudden stop.
Make sure that the function of the seat belt is correct
before you use the product.
•
Keep the seat belt clean and dry.

Operator Presence Control (OPC)
When the OPC is engaged, the power supply of the
drive system stops. The valve for the abrasive material
closes and the clutch disengages. Refer to
check of the operator presence control on page 9 .
To do a check of the operator presence
control
1. Start the product. Refer to
page 14 .
2. Go away from the seat to engage the operator
presence control. If the product does not stop in 5
seconds, speak to an approved Husqvarna service
agent.
Muffler
WARNING:
hot during/after operation and at idle speed.
There is a risk of fire, especially when
you operate the product near flammable
materials and/or fumes.
WARNING:
without a muffler or with a damaged muffler.
A damaged muffler can increase the noise
level and the risk of fire. Keep tools to
extinguish fire near. Do not use a product
without, or with a broken muffler.
The muffler keeps the noise levels to a minimum and
points the exhaust fumes away from the operator. In
areas with a hot, dry weather there is a high risk of fire.
Obey local regulations and maintenance instructions.
