2.5.- Conexión provisional para la recarga de baterías.
LAS OPERACIONES DESCRITAS EN ESTOS PÁRRAFOS
DEBEN SER LLEVADAS A CABO POR ELECTRICISTAS
AUTORIZADOS O POR PERSONAL TÉCNICO
CUALIFICADO.
2.5.1.- Verificación y opciones de ajuste.
Antes de conectar el SAI, comprobar:
1) Los valores de tensión y frecuencia de la red: Deben
corresponderse con los descritos en la placa de
características ubicada en la parte interna de la puerta del
SAI (tensión de entrada, frecuencia de trabajo).
2) El calibre del magnetotérmico: Debe ser igual o superior
a la corriente indicada en la placa de características
ubicada en la parte interna de la puerta del SAI (KVA).
3) El tierra: Debe cumplir plenamente con la normativa IEC
o locales vigentes.
En lo que se refiere a la seguridad del personal de
instalación, asegurarse que las operaciones de conexión se
realizan bajo las siguientes condiciones:
- Tensión de red cortada.
- SAI totalmente parado. Para parar totalmente el SAI:
a) Abrir el interruptor principal de la red entrada (1), el de
la línea de bypass (reserva) (2) y el de salida (4),
situando la palanca en posición horizontal.
b) Abrir el interruptor de baterías (5), situando la palanca
en posición OFF.
c) Abrir el interruptor de BYPASS (3), situando la palanca
en posición horizontal.

ELECTRICIANS OR BY TECHNICAL PERSONNEL.
2.5.1.- Tests and setting options.
Before wire-connecting the UPS, check:
1) The mains voltage and frequency values: these must
correspond to those indicated on the adhesive label
attached on the door's rear plane of the UPS (input voltage,
working frequency).
2) Magnetothermic switch capacity: must be equal or
greater than that reported on the label situated on the UPS
door's rear plane (KVA).
3) Plant grounding: must fully comply either with IEC norms
or local laws.
As far as the installation personnel's safety is
concerned, make sure that the wiring operations are carried
out under the following conditions:
- Primary mains voltage cut off.
- UPS fully de-activated. To fully deactivate the UPS:
a) Open the main power switch (1),the bypass (reserve)
line switch (2), the output switch (4) by setting the l
lever to the horizontal position.
b) Open the battery switch (5) by setting the lever to the
OFF position.
c) Open the BYPASS switch (3) by setting the lever it to
the down position.
