8.1

Replacing a bus coupler

Applied electric voltage and high pressure
Danger of injury from electric shock and sudden pressure drops.

Make sure the system is not under pressure or connected to
power when you exchange a module.

1. Disconnect the electrical connections and any pneumatic
connections from the bottom side of the bus coupler (1).
2. Unscrew the three screws (2) that fit the bus coupler to the valves
(hexagonal head, wrench size 8 mm).
3. Detach the bus coupler from the valve subbase (3).
4. Push the new bus coupler onto the tie rods (4) of the valve unit. Make
sure that the seal (5) is fitted correctly.
5. Refit and tighten the three screws (2). Tightening torque 2.8 to
3.2 Nm.
6. Copy all the settings from the old bus coupler to the new bus coupler
(see "Making settings" on page 67).
