The clutch system must be bled after the fluid replacement or
when, due to air in the circuit, the lever stroke is long
and spongy.
Proceed as follows:
- Remove the rubber cap on the bleeding valve (1).
- Attach a clear plastic hose to the bleeding valve and turn the
other end of the hose into a container (make sure that the
end of the hose is submerged in fluid during the entire
bleeding operation).

- Remove fluid reservoir cap (2), the rubber and fill the reser-
voir with fresh brake fluid.
- Open the bleeding valve and pump with lever (3) several ti-
mes until the fluid, clear and without bubbles, comes out of
the hose: now close the bleeding valve.
- Restore the fluid level then reassemble the rubber and the
fluid reservoir cap.

Periodically check the connecting hose (see "Periodical mainte-
nance card"): if the hose (C) show is bent or cracked, its re-
placement is advised.
