KIMAX trailer/semitrailer variant
When defining the mounting position of the trai-
ler/semitrailer-mounted display, consider the
sensor cable routing.
Do not install the display unit in a position in
which it will be exposed to gravel and water
spray.
Installing the display unit
Depending on the vehicle properties, decide
whether you want to install the display unit before
or after connecting the sensor line(s) and electri-
cal components.
Choosing sensor line connection points
Connect KIMAX only to compressed air lines that
feed directly into the suspension bellows.
Where possible, choose connection points that
permit convenient routing of the sensor cable(s).
Before removing and reconnecting compressed
air lines, decide where the display unit will be in-
stalled.

Notes on installation work on the
air suspension system
Before carrying out any work on the air
suspension system, ensure that it is de-
pressurized. To depressurize it, lower the
vehicle/trailer/semitrailer to its lowest po-
sition.
Before disconnecting any line, ensure
that it belongs to the compressed air cir-
cuit of the suspension.
Do NOT install KIMAX in the compres-
sed air circuit of the braking system!
For installation, you will need the vehicle-
specific connectors. Note the pipe and
connector types installed on the vehicle.
Route the lines so that no friction occurs
with other components and fix them at in-
tervals of approx. 50 cm.
