If you are installing a KIMAX axle load display
unit for trailers/semitrailers, (variants with high-
grade steel housing):
Ensure that the glass cover does not
fall when removing the front ring from
the display.
• Turn the front ring anticlockwise to its stop.
• Remove the front ring and the glass cover
from the display unit.

For calibration to be performed, the axle
load at load conditions LO (unladen or
low load) and HI (laden) must be known.
Ideally, the HI value is programmed at
maximum payload.
The calibration values HI and LO are en-
tered in tonnes.
Please note that an accurate calibration
value input will result in a more accurate
readout. You should therefore determine
the axle load on a calibrated weighing de-
vice.
All values can be reprogrammed at any
time.
After calibration, place the decimal
point at its correct position. It is of no
significance while the values are
being entered.
Starting calibration mode
Press the key until the display disappears (ap-
prox. 5 seconds). Then release the key.
