Installation and operating instructions

Connecting components:

The T-pieces included with KIMAX for connecting
to the suspension bellows air lines are designed
for 8 mm pipes.
If T-pieces for connection to existing airlines, for
example 12x1.5 mm or 15x1.5 mm, must, if re-
quired, be purchased from a third party supplier.
Only components approved for use with
compressed air brakes and air suspensi-
on systems and conforming to DIN 3853
or 73377 must be used.
In particular, the requirements of
DIN 74324 (part 2) must be observed.

system

Technical specifications
Before working on the vehicle's electrical
system, disconnect first the negative and
then the positive battery terminal!
When connecting devices to the vehicle
electrics, ensure that you do not sever
the litz wires, since this can cause over-
heating of the cable! Isolate exposed litz
wires to prevent short-circuiting!
Where possible, use existing cable ducts
and wiring looms for routing electrical ca-
bles! However, do not route cables next
to ignition cables or other cables carrying
a large current!
Fix the cables with cable ties!
