10. By pressing the pedal to rotate the clamping plate,
turn the clamping plate clockwise until the tire
bead is completely released from the rim seat.

In the case of tubed tires, pull out the tube by pres-
sing on the pedal to fold over the tilting mounting
column.
11. Repeat the same operations for the lower tire bead.

12. Remove the tire by pressing on the pedal to fold
over the tilting mounting column.

Fitting tires

Risk of accident through damaged rims and
tires!
If the tire or rim is damaged during fitting,
this may lead to dangerous or life-threatening
situations when driving.
The tire must be fitted by trained persons
only.
Do not exert any excessive force on the tire
or rim and set a low speed.
Use a sufficient amount of mounting paste.
Stop the fitting process immediately in
the event of any anomalies, e.g. abnormal
noise.

Preparations for fitting
Warning: Risk of damage to RFT and UHP
tires!
Crack formation when working on cold tires.
Tire blowout at high speeds.
Tire core temperature at least 15 °C.
Please refer to the publications of Wdk,
which are available in German and English.

Store the tires at a controlled temperature
prior to fitting.
1. Apply mounting paste to the rim from inside at the
rim flange, the bead seat and the drop center.
2. Also lubricate the two tire beads with mounting
paste.
3. Position the tire at an angle on the rim.
