Warning: Risk of injury to hands!
There is a danger of crushing when rotating
the clamping plate.
Do not use fingers to reach in between the
tire and the rim.
i
In the case of particularly wide rims, move the moun-
ting column up by 2 positions using the correspon-
ding switch.
1. Turn the clamping plate and move the valve to bet-
ween a 2 and 4 o'clock position.
2. Press the pedal for the tilting mounting column to
move the mounting column into working position.
3. Position the lower tire bead at the top left edge of
the wedge of the mounting head.
4. Whilst actuating the pedal to rotate the clamping
plate, allow the tire bead to run into the drop center
and keep turning until the lower tire bead reaches
the mounting head and runs under the edge of the
rim.
i
To avoid damaging the tire bead, make sure it runs
into the drop center at the start of the operation.
i
To facilitate this process it is advisable to press the
tire bead into the rim as the clamping plate rotates.
