Maintenance intervals

Maintenance
Clean moving mechanical parts, treat with
spray oil or kerosene and lubricate with
engine oil or a suitable grease.
Check condensate level in filter unit and
remove any condensate.
Check oil level in gear unit – this must not be
below the minimum level.
Check whether roller of mounting head is
clean.
Check oil level in oil mist lubricator and top
up if necessary.
Check that plastic guards are in proper
working order.
Check supply pressure of machine (min.
8 bar/max. 10 bar)

Checking gear oil
1. Remove the screw plug with dipstick (A).
2. Check the oil level; it must not be below the mini-
mum mark (tapered section of dipstick).
3. If the oil is below the minimum level, add no more
than 500 ml of oil (see Sec. 6.1).

1. Turn the red knob (A) at the bottom of the water
separator to the left (clockwise).
2. Press the knob to drain the condensate collected.
3. Return the red knob (A) to its original position.

1. Disconnect the compressed air connection.
2. Remove the screw plug of the container (A) at the oil
mist lubricator.
3. Top up the oil (see Sec. 6.1).
