Description of unit

The TCE 4460 has rotating, driven and moving
parts which could cause finger and arm inju-
ries.

Rotation of clamping plate:
+ In clockwise direction (by pressing pedal down); further pressure on the pedal increases
the speed of the plate
+ In counter-clockwise direction (by pressing pedal upwards).

Functional description

The principal functions of the TCE 4460 components
listed above are described in the following:

Pedaleinheit mit Pedalen für die Bedienung der Ma-
schine (Pedal für Drehbewegung des Spannflanschs,
Pedal für Abdrückeinheit, Pedal für Spannklauen,
Pedal für kippbare Montagesäule, Pedal für Reifen-
füller).

Abdrückeinheit: dient zum Abdrücken des Reifens
von der Felge. Der Abdrückarm wird durch einen
doppelseitig wirkenden Druckluftzylinder bewegt.
Seine Bewegung lässt sich in 4 Positionen regeln.
Dadurch lässt sich die Abdrückschaufel weiter öff-
nen, um auch besonders breite Reifen abdrücken zu
können.

Montagesäulen-Einheit, bestehend aus einer kippbaren
Montagesäule mit 2 Arbeitspositionen, wodurch auch die
Demontage und Montage von Reifen mit sehr breiten Felgen
ermöglicht wird. An der Montagesäulen-Einheit befinden
sich die für die Demontage (und Montage) des Reifens
erforderlichen Komponenten: ausfahrbarer horizontaler
Montagearm und ausfahrbarer Senkrechtmast (mit Fest-
stellknopf), Montagekopf für die Demontage (und Montage)
des Reifens auf die Felge mit Hilfe des Wulstabhebers.

Spannteller, Vorrichtung zum Einspannen und Ro-
tieren (im und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) der Felge,
pneumatisch betätigt durch 2 Zylinder, bestehend
aus 4 beweglichen Laufschienen (einstellbar für die
Arbeit an Rädern bis 30") mit Spannklauen zum Ein-
spannen der Felge von innen und außen.
