Notice:
If the charging process not started immedi-
ately, the machine still switched on may be
a reason for this. You can see this at the
flashing main switch.
The machine system will be shut down
when the battery charger is inserted. The
charging process will not start until the ma-
chine is switched off.
Notice:
All machine functions are deactivated
during charging.
After charging
Attention:
Switch off the charger before disconnect-
ing it from the batteries.
Disconnecting the charger while it is still
switched on may result in an explosion in
the battery compartment.
Prior to commissioning
Parking brake
Activation:
• The electronic system automatically deactivates the park-
ing brake as soon as the driving switch is operated.
Emergency stop:
• If the steering or voltage supply fails, the parking brake can
be released by hand. The emergency release button must
be permanently activated.
Notice:
The emergency release only works with an
inserted battery.
Check parking brake and emergency stop
Attention:
The parking brake and emergency stop
are important safety elements. Therefore,
their function must be checked regularly in
short time intervals, before using the ma-
chine.
• Switch on the machine (main switch button).
• Press the driving switch while holding the driving handles.
The machine will start to move straight ahead.
• Now press the emergency stop.
Notice:
The machine must abruptly brake to a
complete stop, and drive straight ahead
without steering correction.
Caution:
If one of these functions is not available,
the machine must be decommissioned un-
til professional repair by an authorized
TASKI service partner.

Warning devices
Attention:
Warning devices such as warning light,
flashing light and signal tone when revers-
ing must be regularly checked for function-
ing. Malfunctions must be eliminated
immediately.
The warning devices are not allowed to be
covered.
The operation of the machine with missing
or defective warning devices requires in-
creased caution and attention.
Caution:
National regulations always take priority.
These can require other behaviors and
must be adhered to.
Sensors
Attention:
The ground sensors and the obstacle rec-
ognition sensors must be checked to en-
sure proper function and cleanliness prior
to each time of using!
Caution:
The ground sensors may not be covered!
Notice:
This machine is fitted with a test system
that periodically prompts the user to test
the floor sensors.
This procedure is shown on the display
and can be carried out step by step.
Usage information:
• You can proceed to the next step
with this arrow button.
Test sequence:
• The button for the start of the test
procedure flashes.
• Press the button to start the proce-
dure.
• Drain the fresh water and recovery tanks.
• Open the front door.
Attention:
If the fresh water and recovery tanks are
not drained, the following step must al-
ways be carried out by two people.
• Bring the machine to the loading position.
• To do this, pull on the tank release lever for more ground
clearance and lift the tank until it is placed on the holder.
• Close the front door.
