PROBLEM
The mixer does not start up
The mixer starts up but then stops
The mixer starts up without material (only
water flows out)
The mixer only works if the "START"
button is kept pressed
The water flows out but the mixer and
pump do not work
Plant not working and indicator light

The vibrator does not work (neither
continuously nor timed)

POSSIBLE CAUSES
1) No connection
2) Defect in motor or mains
1) Direction of rotation incorrect
2) Throughput too high
3) Motor burnt
4) Gear reducer or reducer defect
5) Outlet spout blocked
1) Reducer defective
2) Direction of rotation incorrect
3) Material flow from silo not sufficient
4) Silo valve closed
5) Mixer screw does not turn
No water
Phase missing in panel
Mixer or pump thermal protection
tripped
Thermal protection tripped
1) Water cock closed or broken
2) Reducer pressure gauge on 0
Material descent from silo not constant
Water supply to mixer not constant
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1a)
Check the power cable - Panel - Motor
connection
1b)
Check the fuses; replace if damaged
2) Repair or replace the defective part
1) Invert the poles
2) C h e c k t h r o u g h p u t a n d c o n s u l t
manufacturer
3) Check amperage and status of thermal
cut-out
4) Check and replace, if necessary
5) Dismantle outlet spout and clear after
d i sco nne cti ng p o we r sup p ly to the
electric panel
1) Check for cause and replace part
2) Invert poles
3) Operate the vibrator and/or check the
level of material in the silo
4) Open the silo valve

Check the joint between the screw and
gear motor
5b)
Motor defective
a) Check the water supply
b) Check the working of the solenoid valve
a) Check the electric power supply
b) Check the panel main fuses
Reset tripped thermal cut-out inside
panel (press the reset button on E/1/2
and E/1/4)
Reset tripped thermal cut-out inside
panel (press the reset button on E/1/6)
1) Open cock or replace
2) Act on reducer until required pressure is
restored
(2-3 bar with cock closed)
a) Check the working of the vibrator
b) Check the level of material in the silo
a) Check the working of the solenoid valve
b) Check pressure to make sure it is higher
than 0.8 bar with regulator cock open
